Testimonies

I wanted to share a portion of my testimony to you. I thank God every day for calling Gabriel and Anita to our nation and I thank them for obeying that call. Not many people would leave the comfort of their homes, not to mention their country to go to a place unknown to them. Gabriel came to Charleston at ALC in Feb, 1995.

I'll never forget that first week and March 3rd. The whole week I can remember going over in my mind over and over again wondering if it was God. All I could tell myself is that it made me hungrier for the things of God and thankful for Jesus revealing the Holy Spirit to me. I felt the Holy Spirit a little during the course of that week but it was not until March 3rd that I really felt him. I was working that day so I was a little late getting to the meeting. As I was walking into the sanctuary, I noticed that the presence of the Holy Spirit was so thick that you could cut it with a knife.

Shortly after, the fire fell. I was never the same since that day. When I left to go back to work the presence of God stayed with me. I didn't just feel the presence of his spirit in the church. That, in itself was a testimony that it was truly God. Over the years, I have been working as a home health nurse and the Holy Spirit has guided and led me into different people's lives.He not only used me to bring the presence of God to people but to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them. He moved through me to bring healing and salvation to them.

I thank God every day for what he has done and what he continues to do through me by the power of his Spirit.It was this move of God that was brought to my church that made this happen in my life .I am also so thankful that Abundant Life Church continued to carry this awesome ministry of the Holy Spirit in our church so that the Holy Spirit could continue to heal and transform our lives.

During the meetings in Feb,2009 in Charleston, Gabriel called for healing for someone's hips .I was laying on the floor believing God for another healing but I raised my hands to receive this healing. I've been sleeping on my back (only) for many years because of some other problem I have. Whenever I would move slightly 1-2 inches toward my sides, my hips would come out of joint .I would be up all hours of the night at times. I noticed after a few days when waking up I was not stiff and painful like I had been. I tried laying on my side and my hips actually stayed in place.

I give God all the praise and glory. I am forever thankful for Gabriel and Anita's ministry.
